The Innovation Launchpad is a test and try model that enables emerging technologies to be used and evaluated in real-life health care environments over a finite period. We work with health care providers, clinical teams, patient partners, and embedded scientists to help determine their needs, complete market scans, and conduct due diligence to best align technologies with clinical opportunities. Companies gain valuable clinical feedback, clinicians get to test and try a product without a long-term commitment, and Nova Scotia Health is able to invest in ideal, well-vetted solutions to deliver leading-edge care.
Since the Innovation Launchpad began, the Nova Scotia Health Innovation Hub has worked with a number of different companies, including Maple, Virtual Hallway, and Breaking Free Online.
